VENUE: John DeSotelle Theater (754 9th Ave., NYC)
SYNOPSIS: 172 Push-Ups is a conversation between an older man and a younger woman who discover that they have more in common than they had originally thought. Initially the older man struggles to understand "this whole lady-soldier thing" and lesbianism, but when he and the younger woman connect over how much they love/loved their significant others, he can't help but come around. I think that this show is a brilliant example of how to have a conversation with a human being. This play made it to finals in The Network's New Short Play Festival and is currently in the process of being published.
STARRING: David Patrick Stucky, Giselle Samson, Lyndsey Marie Brown
